IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

REGISTRATION FEES

Conference Registration includes all workshops, activities, entertainment, and herb walks except for the Intensive Workshops, which are an additional $35 for each Intensive. You may add those to your cart below. Please note; a few of the hands on craft type of activities may charge a small material fee (between $5 – $10) payable to the teacher at the class. Material fees when requested are noted on the WHC schedule and are payable to the teacher. Meals must be purchased separately.

LODGING & MEALS

Camping is FREE and included in the cost of Registration.  If camping, you must bring your own camping gear including a waterproof tent, ground cloth, sleeping bags, pads, flashlight etc. Be sure that your tent is waterproof!   Portapotties are provided for campers (sorry no indoor toilet facilities) and limited indoor shower facilities.  Please note; camping is fun, but rustic. You must be prepared to bring what you need to be comfortable for the weekend.  Personal campfires and campstoves are not permitted. There is no additional charge for camping.

We also offer Lodging in Camp Wicosuta Bunkhouses; for $65 per person. This can be added to your cart below—hurry, space is limited and this fills up fast! 

Off Site Lodging is another option. If you opt for more comfort and privacy, you might prefer to stay in one of the lovely B & B™s and hotels in the area.  The WHC is held in the beautiful Lakes Region of NH, and there are lots of lodging options in the area. Meal Packages & Food Vendors Once again we are offering our Participants a choice of purchasing a Meal Package or purchasing individual meals from Food Vendors.  Both options offered a good variety of choices and wholesome delicious meals that satisfy most of our participant’s needs and wide range of food needs. Kids Camp provides the opportunity for children age 5 to 12 to attend the NE Women’s Herbal Conference and to have a ‘camp of their own’. For more information about Kid’s Camp and bringing your children with you, please click here

We are so sorry to anyone who was still hoping to bring their older children , that that the children’s spaces are now full and we are no longer able to take children’s reservations.  We love to have the children at the conference ~ they add so much joy and laughter ~ and are glad to be able to provide a special program for them. Please note, the decision to bring your children age 5 to 12 without registering them for Kids Camp is not an option. Also, because it adds so much confusion to the registration process, we are unable to register you based on whether or not there will be an opening at a later date for your child.  You will need to decide now whether you wish to attend the NE WHC without your child. We sincerely hope you can make other arrangements for child care so that you can attend this year.

Children 4 years and younger are welcome to attend the NE WHC at no charge, but no childcare is available. The ‘little one’s’ are welcome to attend class with you, however, if they become fussy out of courtesy to others, please step away from the class.  Please bring snack items for your child, change of clothes, and diapers if necessary.

Thursday Evening Arrival This year, participants are able to arrive Thursday from 4-6:30 pm. This will enable woman to attend the Pre-Conference intensives and also help women who are driving long distances. Registration is open ONLY between 4-6:30; please do not arrive earlier or later.   The cost is $35 for Thursday night and includes camping or cabin (if you’ve pre- registered for indoor lodging). Food vendors will be at the camp and set up for Friday breakfast and lunch, but not Thursday dinner.  New this year: Pre-Conference Meals - Thursday dinner to Friday Lunch!

INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS

Intensive workshops offer participants the opportunity to delve deeper into subjects of particular interest and to work more closely with individual teachers.  Intensives are 3 ½ to 4 hours in length and are an additional $35 each.  Space is limited and intensives fill up quickly.  Be sure to register and prepay ahead of time to ensure your space. Gail Ulrich Memorial Scholarship

There are limited number of partial scholarships available to help those in financial need who would like to attend the NE Women’s Herbal Conference. Scholarships are for $100 and are used to help offset the tuition costs. In order to create as many scholarships and other discounted registration positions as possible, we ask that individuals applying for scholarships don’t apply for work-study positions. If you have an absolute need for both, then call and let us know and we’ll consider your situation. We want everyone who wishes to attend, to be able to come to these wonderful herbal events, as well as making sure that the event's expenses are covered. Thank you for your understanding!

WHC CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:

ALL REFUND REQUESTS MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED IN OUR OFFICE AT THE DESIGNATED TIME NOTES BELOW; PLEASE EMAIL US AT laura@newomensherbal.com. AND/OR WRITE TO WHC/REFUND, P.O. BOX 101, Plainfield, VT 05667.

August 1: All fees except for an $85 deposit per registrant are fully refundable until August 1.  (Fees includes tuition, intensives, meal & lodging fees)

Partial refunds are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.

After August 1 there are no refunds available
Registrations can be transferred to a woman of your choice at anytime, or donated to our scholarship fund.

The NEWHC expects to hold the conference, rain or shine. In the unlikely event that we were forced to cancel, we would refund as much of the registration fees as possible, which could mean we would be unable to offer any refunds. 

We ask that you note this Cancellation & Refund Policy, as there will be no exceptions.
